In this episode, Rick and Kaleem have a great chat with Caro Griffin, Founder of Opsy, a community for operations professionals. Calling Mexico City home, Caro has worked remotely from 30 countries. When she was starting out, she wasn't completely convinced on the benefits of remote work. But over time, travelling the world and meeting people from all walks of life, Caro soon learned that absolutely nothing could put her back in an office role.
The discussion also touches on inclusion, diversity, and the gray areas of job descriptions. A company may advertise for a work-from-home position, but if any part of that role involves reporting to an office, it's not quite remote. Buyer beware!
All in all, this was a fun episode, and the fellas learned a whole lot. Thanks, Caro!
